Oral Doxycycline

  • Has excellent CNS penetration1

Treatment:

  • Oral was found to be as effective as IV antibiotics for neuroborreliosis1

Contraindications

  • Doxycycline is not recommended in pregnant women, women who are breast-feeding, and children younger than 8 years of age1
  • A short course of doxycycline is not likely to stain teeth1
