Types
- Selective: The ability to attend to a task despite all of the other stimuli around
- Sustained: The ability to maintain consistent response during a continuous activity
- Divided: The capacity to respond to 2+ stimuli
- Alternating: The ability to move flexibly between tasks and respond appropriately to demands of each
