- Hold dowel overhead
Setup
- Feet shoulder width apart
- Toes straight or slightly toed out
- Bar raised overhead in snatch grip
Action
- Squat as if you’re sitting down
- Then Return to start position
Key points
- Tall chest
- Hells down
- Hip crease below knee crease
- Neutral spine
- Strong OH position
Faults
- Shoulders drop forward
- Heels come up
- Not going to parallel
- Loses neutral spine
- Lose OH position
Treatment Principles
- Motor control vs mobility issue
- Positional isometrics = Right cueing for putting the pt in the correct positions and training motor control there
