ROM

  • End range: Move from neutral to slight ROM
    • Eventually build up to end ROM
  • Moving through ROM: Start moving through small ROM
  • For extreme ROM:
    • Start moving into it

PNF for the Overhead Athlete

  • Perturbation training
    • RTC highly involved in the dynamic stabilization unit of the shoulder
  • Give opportunity to recruit fast twitch mm fibers due to faster mvmts
