Purpose

observe movement restrictions in individuals with known musculoskeletal disorders

Techniques

Deep Squat

Although this is labeled the “Deep squat” in SFMA, this would be colloquially considered an overhead squat

Instructions

  • Feet pointed forward
  • Feet shulder width apart
  • Hold dowel overhead

Bilateral, symmetrical, functional mobility of:

  • Hips
  • Knees
  • Ankles

Hurdle step
