Medial coracoclavicular, Conoid, and trapezoid ligaments are the 3 coracoclavicular ligaments¹.

The conoid ligament and the trapezoid ligament are 2 extra-articular ligaments that help to stabilize the acromioclavicular joint¹.

The trapezoid lig. attaches to the coracoid process, but is superficial/anterior to the conoid ligament¹. The trapezoid lig. runs superolaterally to insert on the clavicle, anterolaterally to the conoid tubercle¹.

Function

The trapezoid lig functions to limit the closing angle between the clavicle and scapula¹.
