L5 Vertebrae
Malalignment
Unlike T12-L4, the psoas major does not have an origin on the vertebral body or IVD of L5 in most cases2. However, psoas major does attach to L5’s transverse process which can result inipsilateral rotation of that segment if dysfunctional.
